Coast Guard Art and Aviation:
100 Years of Flying

 

An exhibit of paintings and photography depicting the work of the Coast Guard will be on display at Skipjack Nautical Wares (1 High Street facing the riverfront) through Monday, August 8. Free and open to the public, exhibit hours are 10am - 5pm Friday, Saturday and Monday; 1-4pm on Sunday.

Shown here is the original oil on canvas "Star of Courage" by Kris Stoll, a commissioned work commemorating the 2007 rescue of sailors from the Sean Seamour II.
